Autumn Sabbatical Course 2025

These prayerful and relaxing courses are designed for those looking for a course with a focus on personal renewal through prayer and reflection. One of the course highlights is a pilgrimage to St. Columba’s Island of Iona.
2024’s Autumn Sabbatical takes place from 14th October-28th November (7 weeks) – with an optional Pilgrimage to Iona (31st October–2nd November). Cost – £5550 (including optional pilgrimage.)
It is not possible for weekly participants to book for Week I and Week VII of the Sabbatical Course but other individual weeks may be booked.
Week 2 – Ministry of Healing in the Church today
Arrive for supper (19.00hrs) on Sunday evening depart after lunch on the following Thursday (13.00hrs)
Week 3 -Transitions of Life
Arrive for supper (19.00hrs) on Sunday evening and depart after lunch on the following Thursday (13.00hrs)
Week 4 – Iona Pilgrimage – The Celtic Spirituality Pilgrimage to St. Columba’s Island of Iona – 31st – 2nd November 2025.
(Thursday – Monday) The stay starts with a meeting at Kinnoull (17.00hrs) on the Thursday evening and finishes after breakfast on Monday.
The coach with the pilgrims leaves the Monastery on Friday morning and gets back on the following Sunday evening. Pilgrims stay at Kinnoull on the Sunday night.
Week 5 – Catholic Moral Reasoning: Living the Gospel Today
Arrive for supper (19.00hrs) on Sunday and depart after lunch (13.00hrs) on the following Thursday.
Week 6 – Exploring the Gospel of St. Matthew
Arrive for supper (19.00hrs) on Sunday and depart after lunch (13.00hrs) on the following Thursday.
